SecondShift Robotics
Collaborative robot arm tending a CNC machine on a Denver-area manufacturing shop floor

Your machines
could be running right now.

More hours out of the machines you already own, without hiring a second shift or stomaching a six-figure capital purchase.

The Industry is Stuck

Denver manufacturers are feeling the squeeze. The work is there, but the capacity isn't.

01

No operators for a second shift

You can't find reliable people to run a second or third shift. Machines sit idle while demand piles up and your competitors keep shipping.

02

Your CNC runs 8 hours, then stops

A spindle not turning is money lost. The equipment you financed is producing for one shift, then going dark for 16 hours every night.

03

Traditional automation costs too much

A custom robotics project means $200k+ upfront, months of integration work, and the risk is entirely yours. Most shops can't stomach that bet.

04

Integrators take forever and underdeliver

Custom projects drag on. Scope creep, delays, systems that don't perform as promised. By the time you're running, the job has moved on.

Robotics as a Service

Automation without the capital risk. A modest upfront deployment fee, then a flat monthly subscription that includes everything.

01

Standardized Deployment

We bring a complete package: robot arm, gripper, staging, safety sensors, and integration hardware. Engineered once, deployed many times.

02

Fast Installation

From arrival to first cycle, faster than any traditional integrator. The system is already engineered before it ships to you.

03

Operator Training

We train your existing team. Our systems are operator-simple. No robotics degree required to load parts or switch jobs.

04

Ongoing Support

If something breaks, it's our problem. Maintenance, updates, and support are baked into the subscription. You run production, we keep the robot running.

How the numbers compare

Traditional integration

$200k+ upfront

Months of integration. Internal risk. Uncertain ROI.

SecondShift RaaS

Low entry fee
+ monthly subscription

Robot, installation, training, and support included. Cancel or scale as your production changes.

Why SecondShift

Your first automation project shouldn't feel like a gamble.

01

Legacy Compatible

We don't need brand new machines. We integrate with the equipment you already own and run.

02

Weeks, Not Months

Pre-engineered systems deploy fast. You start making parts and recovering costs sooner.

03

Mobile Architecture

Our tending stations aren't bolted into concrete. They adapt and move as your production needs change.

04

Built for the Shop Floor

Collaborative robots. No massive cages. Safe to run right next to your machinists without rearranging your floor.

Higher utilization. Less operator strain. Parts shipping overnight.

The Team

Built by Engineers
Who've Done It

Jeremy has spent 15 years engineering industrial robot systems for manufacturers. Giovanni works across the full stack: firmware, hardware, and operator software. They met building custom robots at the Vestas Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence, and built SecondShift to put that work in shops that can't staff an engineering team.

Co-Founder

Jeremy Haight

Industrial Robotics Engineer

With 15+ years of multidisciplinary engineering experience spanning robotics, factory automation, and additive manufacturing, Jeremy has designed, deployed, and maintained industrial robot systems across a wide range of manufacturing environments. He built SecondShift because he saw capable shops being left behind. The technology could help them. Existing options were just too expensive, too complex, or too risky to try.

Co-Founder

Giovanni Cordova

Robotics & Controls Engineer

Giovanni is a robotics and controls engineer who builds full systems from the firmware up: embedded modules, PCBs, operator dashboards, and mechanical integration. He met Jeremy engineering custom robots at the Vestas Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence, where they still work together. Earlier, he deployed robotic systems across Amazon fulfillment centers nationwide and co-authored a 2023 IEEE IROS paper on autonomous multi-robot servicing.
